If you want to find out the exact locations of mines in a MineSweeper game do the following:

while playing the game type xyzzy + Right SHIFT .

Then look for a white dot in the left corner while moving in the game,

if a white dot is there the mine is not there and the dot is black then mine is there.

If you can't see the dot select no background for your desktop.
